In 2018 I decided to write some stories about the place Linda and I call home for most of the year: the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and more specifically, our cabin on Lake Millecoquins. I’ve written about an old boat, Sandhill Cranes, a fly rod (and creel), and have added a chronology of sorts roughly documenting things we’ve noticed on and around the lake. The view from my chair in the front room facing the lake is alwsys changing, always offering up something of interest. It’s a window always open to the world of Nature.
