A parlor guitar is a small guitar, roughly 3/4 the size of a dreadnought. Even though small in size, the sound is perfectly adequate for a “parlor” small room setting. A big advantage of this guitar is its size. The body is smaller and the neck is narrower making it much easier for children and other small-size players to handle. A parlor guitar makes an ideal travel instrument.
