Soprano Ukulele

Sopranos are the smallest of the ukulele family and are the most common. Shown here are two examples. The first is a very plain instrument with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The second was built using Koa for the top, sides, and back. Koa is a lovely figured wood grown in Hawaii and is the wood favored by builders of traditional Hawaiian ukuleles.
